Focus was on discussing and preparing for the implementation of the GCP Transition Strategy; crop-specific discussions showcasing the work and progress by key actors and target-country partners, as well as the post-GCP future of GCP’s Integrated Breeding Platform (IBP). In addition to the presentations on research progress and perspectives for the future of the different projects, there were daily evening sessions to introduce IBP’s Integrated Breeding Workflow System (IBWS), and participants were invited and encouraged to download the IBWS in preparation for these hands-on IBWS sessions.
